Let's get to work.  There is a lot more to radios than just talking!

First  you need a study guide.  You can pick one up from any local Ham radio equipment dealer, or if you make friends with Ham operator you might walk into a loaner.   RAC and UBC also put out good books.

Email us to check and see if there might be some upcoming courses or instruction.  Sometimes home study works best as you move at your own pace.  When you are stumped on something, that's when you come pay us a visit.  Come by on a club night there is always a handfull of people that would love to help!

If you feel you know your stuff, then test your knowledge.  The following link will provide you with Industry Canada's Exam Software for Amateur Radio.  Simply save it to your desk top.

When you are ready, The Chilliwack Amateur Radio Club has two Designated examiners that can test you !  The basic exam is 100 multiple choice.  All you need is 70% to pass.  No Morse Code for the basic license.
